Manipal Skill Development Center (MSDC) is a Skill-based training center under Dr. TMA Pai Foundation, Manipal. MSDC & NSDC Certified Skill Development Center is one of India's few centers. MSDC has been established to bridge the large gap in the demand and supply of skilled manpower in the country and to equip the youth with appropriate skills to gain proper employment to help the country leverage the demographic advantage of its youngster population.
Identify industry-relevant skill areas and offer skills training and certification at NSQF levels 5 to 10 including training of trainers and research in skill gaps in the Country. Arrange significant industry involvement in its programs and ensure apprenticeships and placements at the appropriate levels. Bring up the TMA Pai Polytechnic and other institutes run by the Foundation to international standards. Convert Dr TMA Pai Polytechnic into a degree college and a skilled university.
